This is my blog about my trip to India. My name is Molly and I am 16 and currently a junior at Gunn High School. My mom’s company has a “branch,” for lack of a better word, in Jaipur, Rajasthan (India). A colleague of my mom’s (Karen) runs a school there for unprivileged and poverty-stricken children called Pratham Shiksha. I will be going with my mom to Jaipur, leaving on the 2nd of November (tomorrow!) until the 12th of November. Although 10 days is an extremely short time, I can still make a huge difference in the lives of these young children. I am extremely excited to be going! I can’t wait to see the children and experience a completely different culture. Hopefully, I can discover other ways we as a community can help another place across the world. Wish me luck! I hope you enjoy this blog; I will be updating the pages with new information as my travels continue.

Hi molly,
Looking to your visit to jaipur. I am sure this will be very learning tour for you. I am also impressed highly that at this stage you have devotion for charity.

Molly and Karen,
Glad to hear you arrived safely. Molly I bet the bathroom experience is the first of many introductions to life in another country. Anxious to hear your feelings and thoughts about them all.
So exciting to be able to see some of what you are doing and learning and teaching. Makes you think about how much we in this country are given or expect to be given without thought. Can’t wait to hear more from you! PS If you notice your hair turning into greenish spikes, you may be eating too much pineapple!!
I love you Amy!!!! I can’t resist the pineapple, its way too delicious. My mouth has been suffering from the acidity 🙂
